It s about Peter, whose head was smashed towards the pavement by Cole. Cole doesn t feel any remorse. And Garvey says Peter should forgive Cole to become able to heal.
What is the base for forgiving in this case? How can you forgive someone who doesn t feel remorse and whose aggression towards yourself was arbitrary?
And what do you forgive? Is arbitrary aggression towards yourself now ok? Cole would do it again without thinking twice about it.
