This may be a crazy reach, but I figured this subreddit would be my best chance at finding a solution.
I have a family member who struggles with addiction, and I think it’s uncomfortable to ask them directly what it’s like. I mean, what is it like to be an addict?
Are there any good books I could read to learn about the matter. Maybe I could even find a way to broach the subject with my cousin if I start to become more informed independently?
