I want to say a year ago I read the book *for the wolf* by hannah whitten, and it was really good! I don’t typically like romance centered books but the world building was super cool and i felt like there was a strong plot outside the romance so I enjoyed it despite the romance aspect!! because I enjoyed the first one so much I finished it in one day and went right back to barnes and noble to get the second one and started it immediately. well.. i got about 100 pages in and just completely lost interest, im not sure if there was a stylistic change or the pacing was different or what.. has anyone read this series and can tell me if the second one picks up the pace or becomes more enjoyable? maybe I just need to give it a second chance!!
