Hi everyone!
I recently finished playing through a mobile CYOA story called Have You Seen Claudia that involved the female protagonist searching for her missing sister in Chicago.
It was set during the Chicago World Fair and the plot involved the MC having looking for evidence/having to prove that H.H. Holmes was responsible for her sister’s disappearance.
It was a very tense story and unafraid to acknowledge the reality of a woman making those kind of accusations in that time period.
I loved every minute of it so I’m hoping someone could recommend a novel that encompasses the elements I loved. To summarise, I’m looking for a novel that is: historical (partially based on real events would be great), mystery, thriller, female protagonist.
