I just binged through all seven Keeley & Associates books, and they were great. Loved the characters, had engaging plotlines, entertaining and funny at times. The first book started with James’s new client, a dragon named Oz, who hoards classic cars and sweetly, but naively, instinctively trusts in humans, so one of his cars gets stolen. He ends up ‘interning’ for James by the end of the book (which is quite funny considering he’s too big to fit in the office). It’s noir, but that’s not usually my thing, it just happened to be.

The books were around 80 pages, and considering I’ve burned through most of Kindle Unlimited’s selection of great books and most of the good books over the few years, I’d love to read smaller stuff as long as it draws me in. Scifi is okay too, as long as it isn’t too hard. Any recommendations? Bonus if there’s some comedic relief, that’s a big part of being entertained for me. It doesn’t need to be under a ‘comedy’ category on Amazon or Goodreads, but I find my attention drifting if there isn’t some element of that. Thanks, y’all!
