Theres a new novel by Mona Awad that I have not read yet but it is on my TBR.
It is called Rouge.
Here is the brief desciption that hooked me:
From the critically acclaimed author of Bunny comes a horror-tinted, gothic fairy tale about a lonely dress shop clerk whose mother’s unexpected death sends her down a treacherous path in pursuit of youth and beauty. Can she escape her mother’s fate—and find a connection that is more than skin deep?

I haven’t read these, so I can’t vouch for their quality, but they’re on my TBR list:
Natural Beauty by Ling Ling Huang
Aesthetica by Allie Rowbottom
Look At Me by Jennifer Egan
And then A Touch of Jen by Beth Morgan which I have read. I loved the first 2/3 and didn’t like the last 1/3 but I’m still glad I read it.

A rebours, by Huysman.
