Yesterday I bought this book which is a story from the point of view of a beech marten. I thought it could be a cute and lighthearted story in a way, even with the main characters ups and downs.
It turns out it’s basically a tragedy based on fatalism, I think in a sort of Oliver Twist way, but for me it was too much so I just put it down. I’m going through a rough time and I just don’t need to read these kind of stories.
So now I’m looking for what I was really looking for, a book that could cheer me up, a story from the point of view of an animal that it’s not a drama, or even a tragedy of some sort.
Something lighthearted, or that it focuses on going on and the beauty of life even if there are negative events that can happen.
