hello, I recently read A Taste for Poison: Eleven deadly substances and the killers who used them by Neil Bradbury and I really enjoyed it, the book is split into chapters of different poisons and little anecdotes about them
I studied history beyond what was required in high school but as I grew older I always wished I did as I have a great interest in art history, fashion history, philosophy, love visiting museums and such.
Could anyone recommend any good history books that are relatively easy to digest for someone with baseline knowledge of history?
bonus points if you have any suggestions that are art/fashion/philsophy related anecdotal books but I’m looking to branch out and just earn a wealth of knowledge so anything that you may have enjoyed that you can recommend is appreciated! I’m open to anything so the more suggestions you may have, the better!
