My best friend loves to read romance, the newer YA types and I haven’t read too many of these types of books, so I am not sure where to look. I’ve done a ton of research, but am still unsure because some of the ones I found she has read and most has not really liked😅 but I want to get her a book she’d like for the holidays.
Her favorite tropes are friends to lovers (especially best friends and/or childhood friends), enemies to lovers, academic rivals, grumpy sunshine and sunshine/sunshine, a lot of the books she reads seem to also have an element of two characters that shouldn’t be together because of some external force (and, likewise, opposites attract) and some type of forced proximity.
