I am generally a ghost-suspense-Stephen King-horror kinda gal, but my dad died last week after a two-month hospital stay. It’s been pretty awful, and I can’t engage in my usual tastes. I’ve started—and stopped—11-22-63 and The Hungry Ones. Any suggestions for books I can listen to that will keep my mind occupied? Side note: I’m struggling with my religion atm, so I’d prefer nothing Bible-based. Thanks so much!
