I’m looking for something nonfiction discussing meaning and craftsmanship. I’m really interested in the philosophy that would compel someone to spend their entire lives in the pursuit of perfecting the art of making something beautiful for people to enjoy. So it would be the intersection of art, craftsmanship, meaning in an increasingly consumer-oriented, disposable culture. The closest thing I’ve found so far is All Things Shining. Thanks.
