I recently picked up various Anne Rice books (Pandora, Violin, and Vittorio) at my local library’s used book sale. I haven’t read any of Rice’s books before, so I’m curious if I’m okay to read any/all of these books before reading some of her more popular works (namely Interview with a Vampire)? Is there any of the books I mentioned that I should read first?
I mostly don’t want to buy any books for my October reading if I don’t need to!

So Violin, as far as I know, is a stand-alone ghost story so safe to read. Pandora and Vittorio should be read in that order and, while they reference characters found in the Interview With A Vampire series, it won’t affect anything at all if you read these now and maybe start the other series later.
Happy reading!
