Is there anyone worse from any book in the history of books than Jondalar from The Valley of Horses (sequel to The Clan of the Cave Bear)?
For me he’s completely ruined book 2 and I have no intention of reading anymore in this series solely because of that man. The man sticks his boner in Aylas face every chance he gets even after calling her family animals and calling her son an abomination. He teachers her only his language so she has to stay reliant on him and can’t communicate with the Mamutoi people nearby. The only thought in his head ever is how beautiful she is and he wants to fuck her. Such a bland and horrible one dimensional character. But for some reason even after he’s hurt Ayla more than she’s ever been hurt before she still falls for him because omg his eyes are so blue.
It would have been a much more interesting story if he died in the cave lion attack and Thonolan survived. Thonolan was actually funny and showed he could care for and love Jetimo, not just wow what a beautiful woman let me fuck her with my huge cock. Thonolan would have been able to recover from his grief and fall in love again giving him reason to live. To be honest I’d rather anyone else get with Ayla over Jondalar even Broud or Joffrey Baratheon lmao he’s just the absolute worst.
