I’m mostly looking for fiction books but am open to non-fiction as long as it’s easy to understand.
Ok here it is:
Books I thought where good:
1. The Painted Bird – Kosinski
2. Steps – Kosinski
3. Various Leo Tolstoy Stories (The Devil, Father Sergius, The Kreutzer Sonata, Ivan Illych, and Family Happiness)
4. The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect – Roger Williams
5. 1984 – George Orwell
6. Justine, or the misfortunes of virtue – Sade
7. Audition – Ryu Murakami
8. The Scout Mindset – Julia Galef (This might be my favorite book)
Books I thought where kind of boring but not necessarily bad:
1. Crime and Punishment – Dostoyevski
2. Brave New World – Aldous Huxley
3. Uglies – Scott Westerfield (I thought the idea around this book was very interesting but thought the actual book was kind of boring for the most part)
4. American Psycho – Bret Easton Ellis
5. The Wood Cutting Expedition – Leo Tolstoy
Books I just dislike:
1. Atomic Habits – James Clear (I like the central message though)
2. Lord of the Flies – William Golding (I think I understand the message behind the book though and think it’s something people should understand)
