So I just completed Forget Me Not by Rachel Leigh and just don’t know what to say. Now, I like obsessed MLs. But what I don’t like is an adult ML who is also involved in the FLs life since she was a fucking BABY. My pedophile alarm starts blaring. Anyway ignoring all the mess in this book except my queen Rhea, who carried almost all of the book so splendidly. And I say ‘almost’ because……..’body betraying syndrome’. How do you hate, no, loathe a person and still can’t control your own fucking body?!?!? “I breathed in his earthly, piny, woody, minty, etc. scent and my body moved against my will to kiss him” like tf?!?? Have you gone mad? Are you even hearing yourself?!? Are you on drugs?!? Like srsly I had such high expectations of the FL and she did deliver on it (kinda), she was such a badass character who took no one’s shit. But then they did the deed and she did such a 180 that it gave me a whiplash. I wish there were more FMCs who stick to their badass character till the end. So if anyone’s got a book with a badass queen FMC and MMC who’s obsessed with her/worships her pls give me recs.
