Hi, I’m not an avid reader of any novels but my friend is. I wanted to make a holiday gift basket with atleast one book included. I can’t for the life of me remember the titles they enjoyed by name but they really enjoy the following themes/traits:
– fantasy
– dystopian
– romance/complex drama
– mystery
– philosophical
They are someone who tends to buy themselves books upon getting their paycheck, but she has not gotten into the new releases yet due to her large backlog. Are there any ones that released this year that might be a good fit? She isn’t picky but she definitely likes things that are thought provoking and immersive.
