So I was recently talking to a friend about the books we were reading atm, and I mentioned that the past 4-5 books I had read were written by female authors. She asked me whether I could make it out through the writing style itself. I said no, and that It was only through googling the author.
To the far more experienced readers, can you discern between male/female/LGBT authors solely based on the writing/story/character descriptions/anything else? It is just out of curiosity.
Noting that this will absolutely have NO bearing on my book choices in the future, and that this is NOT meant to be a discriminatory question of any kind whatsoever.
