I am not at all sure if this is the right place for this. But I wanted to throw this out there.
I’m getting ready to receive about 39 contractor bags of old, rare and vintage books. And I mean a lot of these are old. I have a first edition copy of the silmarillion in mint condition. I saw pre-translation original copies of Isaac Asimov and Grimm’s fairy tales. I think there was even a first draft pre-release of The Hobbit, or something like that.
These are coming from my mom’s apartment complex, the guy who owned these passed away and they are trying to throw them out.
So I had a couple questions for the group:
– what would be a book to look out for?
– who are some authors to look out for?
– anyone ever built a library in their house?
– I’m definitely getting a ghost right?
