So basically a guy asked me to recommend him something good to read, and I have a lot of recs but I can’t come to share them because it’d be awkward to let him know what kind of genre I read (spicy romance books) but on the other hand I do want him to get into reading romance too and get to know the ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL green flags that exist within the fictional realms of such books so he can get an idea of what kind of a man, a woman is attracted to, or why women like fictional men and how men should actually follow the examples of such gentlemen in reality. You get what I’m saying?
Cuz I want to show him what kind of a man he should aspire to be and why girls prefer such soft men because of how lovely and caring they are towards their women!
Examples like:
Cooking, cleaning for her (helping her with chores) mutual consent, emotionally available, caring, listening and kindhearted, LOYAL TO A FAULT! Overall just a big green flag type of energy! But EXCLUDING all the spicy stuff (strictly no 18+) just pure fluff! Just clean romance with maybe a kiss or two, I really hope all my girlies out here get what I’m saying!
I want a book with good plot, it doesn’t have to be crazy, just decent story is good enough as well as a romantic relationship like the one I described! Once again emphasis on the clean romance part (no smut/s*x scenes)!
The thing is, reading is not an interest of his, but he’s willing to try it because of me and wants me to recommend him something good, so I want to recommend him some book that is actually interesting with the kind of romance I mentioned earlier but also not too boring that he backs out midway and never tries reading again.
It should be good enough to keep going but also not too crazy or slow paced that he’d just lose interest right away! Something decent that gets him hooked and wanting more.
Also, romance doesn’t necessarily needs to be the main plot/point of the story, maybe only on the sidelines, but just the *right* amount of it.
I hope I’m making sense. Please help a girl out cuz I only have one shot to get him started (and possibly turn him into the most greenest flag ever, cuz he kind of already is one, I just need something good to get him on track!)
So if there’s any good stories with actual good plot&character development (even short ones will do trick!) + romance with a male lead being an absolute sweetheart and a gentleman, that would be really awesome! I hope I explained it clear enough.
