Hello! I am looking for fantasy book recommendations. Ideally, I would like fantasy romance or a romance subplot. As mentioned in the title I want it to have both western and eastern influence. I am open to both series and standalone books. Thanks!

Skin Folk by Hopkinson
The priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. Its epic fantasy and I found it really compelling. There are strong Western and Eastern influences and finding harmony between them is a a big theme in the book. Plus its so beautifully written with great characters!
Maybe the Black Company. The first few books are more Western Europe while the second half of the series is based off Indian culture. There is some eastern influence in the first half, but it’s limited.
