Hello everyone! Post is a little long I’m sorry!
I use to read voraciously as a child, got a really good grasp of English … Yada Yada but I spent the majority of my time on fiction, and I feel like that still hasn’t changed.
YA fiction has nice stories with magic and gods and stuff but the tone makes it seem like I’m hanging with a bunch of 12 year Olds. I tried “Our Share of Night” but it seemed to take itself way too seriously and just meandered on and on.
It’s been ages since I read a book and I dint want my lsnguage skills to slip.
Can you please rec me a book, fiction or non fiction with engaging dialogue and character banter, has a tight plot, some fantastical elements, and helps teach me new words?
