I love this book, and I recently decided to listen to the audiobook narrated by Laurence Bouvard. I discovered there was a major difference in the audiobook at the end of chapter 30, and I’m trying to figure out if there are different versions of this book, or if it was just a mistake. I searched but haven’t been able to find anyone else mentioning it anywhere.
In the book I first read, there’s a scene at the end of chapter 30 that involves Florence burning Miss Taylor’s Bible and an old photo of her. This scene is not in the audiobook that I listened to.
Does anyone know anything about this? I was confused when it got to this part and the scene wasn’t there, since it seems so important.
