I am looking for recommendations for the above stated genres. My problem is that once there’s a show/movie about a book, I can’t get myself to finish the book first. For example, I bought “Wool” a few months ago, and then right after I bought it, I realized there was a show about it on Apple tv and now I can’t get myself to finish the book knowing I can just watch it. I also like fantasy stuff, but nothing too hot and sexy, I just don’t care for it. Also, for the record, I am not interested in any Colleen Hoover books. I tried to read her a year ago and again, just not my thing.
I read “the family upstairs” about 6 months ago and enjoyed it, but like books with more of a complete ending. I don’t read a ton, so if there’s something popular in this world, I probably haven’t read it.
