I’ve been trying to find what was that book I read sometimes in 2009. Thing is I don’t know who wrote it or what it was named. I don’t even know whether it was new or not back then. Pretty sure it’s be considered “horror” though.
Here is what I remember :
The protagonist is having serious trouble sleeping and the more we go on the less he sleeps. And he sees those 3 strange looking men (aliens?) wearing doctors scrubs and armed with scissors. It seems like he’s the only one who sees them and they walk around until suddenly they decide to cut somebody’s lifeline or something along those lines (basically I have this reading memory of people walking around with coloured lines stemming from the top of their heads and going upward and that’s what’s being cut by the “doctors”) and those who got cut die. And our hero is more and more stressed out about this and tries to figure out who the men are I think.
And a lot happens in a park near by (or a very important scene at least).
I’m so sorry this is probably quite hard to grasp…. But hopefully someone else has read this book and recognises it!
