I’ve just read the first two Harry Potter books with my 6-year old and we’re choosing to pause on reading more of them since the series starts to get a bit darker in the third book and beyond. She has absolutely loved the first 2 books and follows the plot really well.
I’d love a suggestion that has fantastical elements to it but nothing too complex, dark, or violent. Bonus points if it’s a series.
