As a teen, I LOVED coming of age books! A bingeable , dramatic (sometimes unrealistically) look into life. I started reading for pleasure again for the first time in like 10 years, but I (29/F) now struggle with finding much with protagonists around my age or that’s not a mid-life coming of age. I feel like you get YA & then all books are about people mid 30s & up. I’ve been reading a lot of horror lately & I think my brain would enjoy something more chill.
Can be real or a far out, more unrealistic story lines. Bonus points if the story isn’t centered around finding a husband/having a baby!!!
