Hello fellow avid bookworms 😀
It’s been a while since I read a really good book and am in search of a great one (prefer series but standalone is fine too!). I have a lot of time on my hands so I can binge hundreds of pages a day and would really like to get myself immersed into an excellent story/adventure. So please, any recommendations welcome!!!
A lengthy series I thoroughly enjoyed (as something for reference) is Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass. The female protagonist is my favorite type of main character– strong, rebellious, witty, smart with a past of pain that has helped her grow. I probably have gasped and smiled foolishly too many times to count while reading her series, as it came with such amazing plot twists (Celaena=Aelin!) and perfect side-characters’ stories. It was a pretty long series but I honestly loved every single part of it.
Basically, I love a good fantasy novel. A great female protagonist (male is fine too, I’m just unfamiliar with books from a male perspective) with clever personality, extensive and intriguing plot, all that good stuff. And of course some romance while you’re at it.
Thank you! It would be great if you could state the genre or overall vibe of the suggestion. 😀

First of all…LOVED the TOG series. I’m going to assume you’ve read A Court Of Thorns and Roses by her as well (if you haven’t….drop everything and make this your next series.) But I absolutely loved The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa (the first one is called Rhapsodic). It has very similar vibes to ACOTAR in terms of the romance dynamic but it’s a smut filled fantasy about a lonely girl who makes a deal with a “devil like” charachter. Our female protagonist is a straight badass Siren and totally able to hold her own. I don’t want to give too much away but happy to elaborate further if you want. Also I have a fuck load of reccomendations for this type of series as when I first read ACOTAR and TOG it spiraled me down into a DEEP hole of novels trying to replicate the feeling of reading those books for the first time. Please feel free to DM me anytime for more recs.
