I’ve been obsessing over The Last of Us and Stranger Things SO much this month, and it’s because of the found family, adopted daughter type thing. But now I want that in book form. So if any of y’all know of books or series where there’s a super tough and surly and mean and grumpy older guy who finds a spunky chatoic young teenage girl in need of a dad, please lmk. I’m down for all genres, but I do adore sci-fi fantasy type stuff. The chosen family chaotic father daughter duo where they’re besties and have to fight crazy people trope is like, exactly what I need rn.
