A little life by Hanya yanagihara, it took me a while to read this book. It’s beautifully written but is so sad and made me cry and I’ve only ever cried twice when I’ve read a book and this is one of them! In the end, I wasn’t sure whether I enjoyed the book or not, but the message it sends about love and friendship is so strong. I will probably read it again someday, but it is definitely a tear jerker! I read this book over 3 years ago now, and I still think about it every now and then! I once read a quote somewhere that said a book doesn’t necessarily have to be enjoyable for it to be good but memorable and emotional. This book was definitely one of them.
