Say there’s a relatively specific theme, location, character that you have never been able to find in a book. Eg. A horror story set on a snowy mountain in a storm that involves a Yeti, as well as zombies, and there is a negative ending, ie. all the main characters die. Not that anyone would want to read that lmao, but just things like that.
Also not referring to AI-generated stories.
Or, for example, there’s a movie whose atmosphere you really like, and you’re after a book that is in a very similar vein.
I was thinking it could be written as most likely a short story or novella, and a fee would be paid to the author to write this. There could be the option for a couple of revisions if the reader takes a look at the draft and wants some changes, similar to paying for artwork.
