I’m a big fan of this sport, since i have memory, i’ve always enjoyed watching football matches from the prem or other leagues besides learning about the whole sport. Nowadays, i’ve been wanting to begin reading about this sport, in order to go a little bit further, so i would really aprecciate if any of you could recommend me the books you consider the best that are related to this sport, mainly about players careers or the tactical point of view of the game.

I recently read and would highly recommend Inverting The Pyramid, a really insightful history of football tactics.
Now reading Soccernomics, an equally interesting book, looking at data in football.
