I’ve read the book called Mindhunter but I’m looking something more like the TV show where they talk to the criminals to study their psychology, and figure out how to catch them.
Could be true crime or crime fiction.
Bonus points if there’s an audiobook

Steven Douglas books are a good read .
The Killer Across the Table by John Douglas is more what you’re looking for than Mindhunter. Bonus the audiobook is read by Jonathan Groff from the TV Show
