    I like to read speculative fiction before bed to fall asleep and have started to run out of options. Here’s what I’ve read recently and enjoyed:

    Anything NK Jemisin- Cannot get enough of her, from her short stories to her Broken Earth and Inheritance trilogies. I gobbled them up.

    Jade Trilogy by Fonda Lee-Loved the first one but was bored by the second and third.

    Dune by Frank Herbert- Loved it. Ended up listening to the whole series on audiobook.

    Ancillary Justice trilogy by Ann Leckie-Finishing the third one now but loved the concept of an AI ship becoming human and fighting the empire. Felt tied to social justice without being preachy.

    The Long Way to A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers-Not the best writing but this space opera was totally my jam.

    Wool by Hugh Howey-Finished the audiobook on a road trip recently and I enjoyed it but don’t feel compelled to finish the Silo series.

    My next read is The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. le Guin but I like to have something on hand for when I finish and I’m a little lost so suggestions welcome.

      {{The Martian by Andy Weir}}

      {{Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card}}

      {{The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan}} I have read most of these books an uncountable number of times over the years.

      {{Ready Player One by Ernest Cline}}

      And not Sci-fi or fantasy, but I still enjoyed it a lot {{A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman}}
