I want to start lowering the amount of time I’m playing games and get focus on reading instead. What are some decent books for a 24M to start a reading habit?
I’m not too fussed on genres, but when I do play games, story driven stuff is really fun. Death Stranding and Uncharted are the most recent games I completed.

Ready Player One is fun, fast paced, and tied into gaming. I didn’t see the movie so don’t know how it compares.
Martian or Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir are short fast paced sci-fi survival.
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinnimam. Dystopian apocalypse world, and the only way to survive is fighting for your life with alien technology.
He Who Fights With Monsters by Shirtlatoon. Japanese/Australian bloke gets Isekai’d into a fantasy world. Lots of meta humor, action, and character growth.
Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
Then both of those have tons more great books
Enders game is a classic if you’re into sci-fi!
