I have not read a book since high-school and the last books I read that I wasn’t forced to read for school was the Percy Jackson Series back when I was in high-school. I’m 25 now and I don’t know why but I recently have been thinking of trying to get into reading as a hobby but have no clue what to read or what might be up my alley. I think I’d enjoy a fantasy or science fiction genre more than anything so any recommendations for those would be appreciated!

For fantasy I just read and really liked the Serpent and The House of Night and I’m currently reading the second and last book of the series The Ashes and the Star Cursed King and it’s good so far. I also enjoyed Fourth Wing although that series isn’t complete.

For sci-fi I LOVED Dark Matter and Recursion by Blake Crouch the science parts of it can be a little over *my* head but I didn’t care the stories were just that good to me.
