What a Fish Knows by Jonathan Balcombe is wonderful. He interviews a lot of scientists and writes incredibly well, and I learned so much from it.
World on the Wing by Scott Weidensaul is about all the new things that we’ve learned about migratory birds since they finally designed a tracker that can fit on the smallest birds – so something that weighs less than a paper clip. Again, he writes really beautifully and I couldn’t put it down – and I didn’t even think I was all that interested in birds 😏
