A book for a person who never was properly introduced into books and has no interests. And also zones out anytime reads anything longer than a paragraph at a time to point of losing interest out of frustration.
don’t have the answer. however, whatever you decide to read… make sure your phone is in another time zone. i can’t read if my brain knows my phone is within reach

Have you tried audiobooks? I have a family member with focusing issues who listens to audiobooks at 2 to 2.5 x regular speed and this helps them. It’s the same good exercise for your brain. The no interests thing is harder to tackle.
Maybe look at this list of the most popular fiction books of all time and one will be interesting to you?
