I haven’t read since highschool and want to start reading some fantasy/Sci-fi books. I like all types of fantasy and Sci-fi. Aliens, orcs, magic etc etc, I like it all.
What would be a good book to start with, that isn’t too long and isn’t too complex. (My reading is fine, but I just want to start a bit easier.) maybe a big series?

The Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend has 3 books, and they’re an interesting, enjoyable and fairly simple read. I also recommend the Mystwick School of Musicraft and its sequel, The Midnight Orchestra by Jessica Khoury.
Discworld is obligatory. People will recommend it until you read it and they are correct.
