I’d like to write a comedy book, but I don’t know how

Good morning guys, how are you? Well, I have an idea for a series of books that I want to write. It just so happens that recently I’ve been following a lot of sitcoms like Friends, HIMYM, TBBT, My Wife and Kids etc. And in that vibe I was very keen to write a story in that style, but the problem is fitting in the comedy, all the jokes in these series are not just the text, I would even say that the text is one of the least important items, what makes the scene funny is the whole visual context, is there any way to fit this comedy into the reading alone, of course there doesn’t have to be the same amount of jokes or even close to it, but the few times I’ve written them have been frustrating, I’ve tried several times and the jokes always end up seeming forced, embarrassing or even written by a 10 year old. Is there anything you can help me with?
