i’m literally screaming. this book held my attention but it was also sooooo cringy at the same time so that’s where my rating comes from. i need to speak with lucy score because i cannot believe she was being for real with a lot of what she wrote in here.
the whole thing with all of the employees having their period in sync and the big deal it was made out to be was so stereotypical and cringy. also her coffee obsession was so cheugy. the way she said “coffee” after she woke up from being unconscious was uncalled for.
also knox is just a big asshole and the only good things about him was he is good at sex and has money. otherwise he’s a walking red flag. i screamed when he proposed because excuse me??? so out of line. i hate naomi for being stupid but good for her for everything she gained from him.
i can’t read the rest of the series. i can’t put myself through this again. the book was too long and repetitive as well.
what 40 something year old wears short denim skirts??? kept forgetting she was so old the whole time
