Hi,
I used to be a big book reader, but now, I am scared to even open a book and read it. I got consumed by short stories from reddit, or manhwas, and I can’t seem to find a courage to sit down and read a book in the fear of being disappointed. I know I can just google stuff and find a book and just start reading, but I want some recommendations to force me off my butt and read it.
Do you guys have any suggestions for a book about revenge, either love or anything darker, It just have to be well in depth characters and character development where you can feel a bit of realism, and not overpowered MC. I am feeling down these days and I want to feel some kind of underdog win. The darker the book the better. Something my little heart can relate to. Love revenge with some fantasy elements would be nice, but not a dismal in distress.

The GOAT dark revenge book is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. It’s old and very long, so if you can get through that you can get through anything
