I was reading an email newsletter from the Economist in which the writer said their friend figured they only had about 400 more books to read in their life (because he’s in his early 40s and reads 10 books per year). The average person apparently reads 14 books per year.
That got me thinking about how many more I have to read. I have never been a very fast reader and I have never finished a book in one day! Some of my friends on Goodreads have read like 40 books this year. I’m at 13.
