Today a strange book appeared at my father’s desk, it had a strange cover and the title was (translated from portuguese): *The crimes of morgue street and other mysteries of Auguste Dupin* and the author’s name was “Edgar Allan Poe”
I searched for information of the author and I found that he was born in the United States in 1809 and died in 1849 under mysterious circumstances. He was a very bad university student and was a fan of mystery and cosmology.
Then I found that it wasnt one book but three whose original titles in english are: *The murders in the rue morgue, The mystery of Marie Roget,* and *the Purloined letter.*
I started reading because I thought that book had a message or something bizarre because it appeared with no reason, and it was the worst non-portuguese book I saw (and not because it was the first one)
The first story starts with a poem by some “Thomas Browne” and then it continues with a long text: The mental resources refered like analytic are… , it didnt look like a book it was more like a police report or some investigation, and then the book continues telling this and that, lots of author notes, french words and a never-ending sequence of descriptions.
The other two stores are the same, its even written on the book that its a sequel.
I dont know what is happening, but a book appearing mysteriously after I wrote my controversial posts isn’t a good sign, I dont know if there is a ghost attacking me but at least the “ghost” could send me things that are more interesting than a police report.
