I mean, she could just read A Separate Peace. It’s not restricted reading by gender.

What is she interested in? Are there any genres she thinks she’d like? What is it about A Separate Peace that you like that makes you want to find a “girl” version of it (war, coming of age, friendships, etc)?

If you’re looking for coming of age books some classics are Jane Eyre, The House on Mango Street, and Anne of Green Gables. The Diary of Anne Frank and We Have Always Lived in the Castle might fit what you’re looking for as well.
