Novel (any genre) where main char has their first real relationship later in life (30+ years old)

As the title says, looking for a novel where the main character is closer to middle age before having their first real partner.

I don’t mind if its a straight relationship or LGBTQA+. I don’t have a preference on the reasoning that has prevented the main character from having a relationship up to that point. I don’t have a preference about the romance being the main plot of the novel or something on the backburner. Just want to read about a relationship that’s wholesome/hopeful with more mature characters. Thank you!
