My book club has a BINGO chart that we try to fill out every month. One of the categories for December is ‘Cozy Books’. And I would like to posit, if I may, that How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You by Matthew Inman is indeed cozy.
My Points:
1. It has cats. Cats are inherently cozy. Curl up with a good book, a cat, don’t get murdered… yeah, that feels right.
2. It’s a murder mystery! Murder mysteries are cozy. Who’s gonna get murdered by their cat? Probably this reader, but yeah… keeps you guessing!
3. It’s got lighthearted humor. Definitely funny, cozy and uplifting… until the murdering begins.
Um… umm… yeah, that’s all I got for my list.
