I’ve read and enjoyed many books that remind me of childhood, college and even my early twenties. I’m looking for books that remind me of big moments a bit later in life. For instance: meeting my now-wife, making the decision to get married, having our first child, those early sleepless days etc. Hoping for fiction or memoirs where scenes are recalled in detail

I just finished The Brothers K by David James Duncan, and it did this for me. Not sure it will do it for you, but it’s a great book and worth trying! (Sweeping American family saga 1940s-1980s.)
