MTF protagonist that isn’t completely about them being trans and preferably doesn’t have much romance?
I really enjoyed reading world running down by Al Hess but I want something with less romance and the opposite side. Most any fiction genre I’ll read but I especially like near future sci fi, horror, fantasy stuff.
Little Blue Encyclopedia (for Vivian) by Hazel Jane Plante is one of the most unique books I’ve ever read. This is a book about a fictional show “Little Blue” that the trans woman protagonist was introduced to by her deceased friend Vivian (also a trans woman). The protagonist is writing the book as a way to grieve Vivian and a big theme is platonic love
