Hello fellow bookworms,
I’m currently in my education to become a library assistant, so it’s only logical to do a “secret santa” type of thing with books in our class.
Everybody wrote down 2-3 genres/topics they’re interested in, and to my horror, I pulled someone whose card stated that they want “romance” and “drama”.
I have literally never touched a book like that, and it’s as far removed from my personal reading interests as can be. I basically don’t even know where to start looking other than generic bestseller lists lmao
So I need some quality recommendations!
I would prefer a single volume work over an ongoing series, nothing from Colleen Hoover, and a setting more on the modern side. It would be amazing to have a really brief summary or review of what you liked about the book, but just title + author is perfectly fine.
