also not super into graphic gore descriptions but its not a dealbreaker.
recently have read gillian flynns gone girl and dark places. loved both of them! also read good me bad me by ali ward and was a bit let down. it was an easy read and i did enjoy it but while the subject matter definitely isn’t light, i found it to be shallow and a little bit too safe/not as much of a mental trip as i wanted.
i generally am down for crime like killer-kidnapping-mysterious disappearance thing with crime sometimes. but also could be down for something more mentally questionable similar to an anonymous girl (greer hendricks, sarah pekkanen).
basically it can be really dark or not quite as fucked up as long as its engaging still and psychological! TYSM!!!
